Ryo Yamada is a Japanese pianist, composer and improviser based in the Netherlands.
His work moves between acoustic piano, free improvisation, composition and interdisciplinary performance. Across projects with dancers, visual artists, filmmakers, writers and other musicians, he explores how music changes through its relationship with people, objects, images and space.
